Lightmap weather station review

I love this new weather station (powered by Tempest). The design and settings are easy to read at a glance and gives me all the weather info l need. My questions are reading the forecast dial part. The last few days I’ve noticed different colors and don’t know what they mean. One is green to light green the other is light purple? I would like to know what those colors mean. I could not find those colors in your manual.
Another question is regarding the conditions part of the screen. The last week we have had heavy smoke our area from the Lower Sugarloaf wild fire (WA State). The icon that shows up is of the sun and not the smoke for smoky or smoggy icon.

On the fence

It is colorful and looks nice but still not sure how to read the forecast and the wind information seems to be 180 degrees off from what my app shows? Not sure if happy yet or not

A great idea!

I'm not sure what you would call this enjoyment of mine, but I worked many mechanical engineering jobs in my time and was used to old 90's analog light panels to indicate a certain status of whatever I was monitoring. For some reason, the flat wall status light panel works well with my brain. I specifically purchased the Tempest model as that happens to be my weather station at home. What a gift this product is to be able to see from a distance a series of lights that tell you the entire current weather story without reading a forecast. Bravo on a very innovative product. I hope to see more ideas of other boards in the future.

Retro but grows in you

It’s retro. Looks old school but definitely grows on you. Many of the gauges are pretty self explanatory. The forecast is a little weird. You have to know the color decipher to understand. I feel that the wind direction is wrong or maybe too delayed.

Overall, is pretty helpful.
