Horrible documentation was included. It was inaccurate.
I then followed the QR code on the back. Went through the motions on the phone app several times. Still no weather data.
And I'm within feet of the hub.
The display never tries to get an IP address nor advertise an SSID that is implied in the docs.
We get a constant flashing blue, the a brief flashing green, then back to flashing blue.
Waste of our time and money.
Sorry. But, if you included a bit of a clue on the operations and setup it would go a long way.
Nice looking display. Lost connection, but regained after simple power cord re-boot, without needing to reconnect to WiFi. Still trying to figure out how to interpret the forecast display, which is good but a bit confusing. Will reach out to Tech support if cannot figure it out.
At first, was sceptical about color coding features and ability to remember all of the coding. Took very little time to learn and remember them.
So much more convenient than opening the Tempest app every time I want to check things.
They picked all of the variables I would have asked to be included.
I added rubber pads in the slots in the base to get a more upright angle for the display.
Highly recommend!
The connection is not reliable and it has to be recycled in average every 48 hours
