A beautiful instrument. As a numbers person, it took me a while to get used to (and learn) the strictly visual display, but it provides a wonderful snapshot of conditions.
The pilots and customers at Creve Coeur Airport really enjoy looking at the Air Station for quick updates on the current weather conditions.
The Light Map is a genius device to visually show you everything that is going on with weather - INCLUDING the phase of the moon! Not real important unless you're an astronomer as I am. The size of the device is much larger than it appears in advertising. It does require a wall wart transformer (included) so it is not convenient to hang on a wall - even though there is a hanger on it. It comes with a wood stand for countertop use. I was reluctant to part with an old tablet I was using for Tempest display, but now the Light Map gives it all to me at a glance!!!
Love it - it's the perfect add on - easy installation - just follow the instructions. Looks easy and doesn't need any explanation what is what. My 6 yr old understands how to read it.
